first biriyani experiment on my husband

i am a biotech engineer , n just married , i was always keen at experimenting n learning variety in a kitchen ,i love cooking n trying out a variety in food as well as my husband too has a good apetite to taste something different everyday , though i am a vegetarian but for the love of cooking i try making non veg also for my spouse . so one fine day i decided to make hyderabadi biriyani at home , i had seen my mum cooking it in a vessel n sealing it with dough n cook on low flame using whole garam masalas , i didnt knw the quantity of it nor the taste but it used to smell good to non vegies and they used to appreciate its taste n rich content of it , in past i never used to bother abt any non veg food , when i got married i felt that i should cook for my family , because then i see my husband feeling proud whenever i cook something good n others appreciate . i bought all the ingredients that i saw on vahrevah.com , then started my cooking i thought making a kacchi biriyani is the real thing a good chef would do , i did everything as it was told on the video but regarding the quantity of adding garam masala , i fried whole masalas until it had a good aroma , but the quantity of it was more than told , i being naive about the taste of non veg food thought that it needs spice more , the biriyani was well cooked in proportion yet it was too spicey n while eating they didnt like the whole masalas toothing in between , though everybody had it, they told its not bad but spicey i took it in a spirit , n told them thank you for being a part of my experiment , forgive me this time , well you all are gonna be here n i will keep on experimenting n brush up my skill , afterall practice only can make it perfect , so now they will have to sit fingers crossed to be my guinea pigs , i will learn to do it perfectly one day . i think learning it from a perspective of a vegetarian would need more hard work n practice , i didnt taste it a bit yet i was thankful to god that the amount of salt that i put is always correct to the proportion so that i can serve things without bothering to taste .
